august 1 -5

  • Cheese platter We weren't really too hungry for dinner one night, so we decided to just have the cheese Eric got from Wegman's. Eric and I don't know anything about cheese...well except that we like it! So our four types of cheese were...CV cream Kasa (USA), St. Agur Blue Cheese (France), Manchego El Trigal (Spain), Miti Sottocenere with truffle (Italy). The only cracker we had was a rosemary flatbread. We thought it was going to be too overpowering of a flavor, but it worked. The condiments in the white squares were cherry preserve, agave, and honey. I liked the preserves and honey on everything especially the blue cheese! Eric liked the agave. The only cheese that was a huge miss was the Italian cheese. Eric couldn't stand it. I, on the other hand, didn't think it was bad. Anyways, it was a fun dinner!
